Soren & Skye on nest

We are watching hourly to see if a pip can be spotted

Reminder that today, April 1st is first pip. However, we could see a pip anywhere from 35 to 40 days from the day the egg was laid on February 25, 2025.

The baby eaglet has developed an egg tooth which it will use to break a hole in the shell and breathe its first breath of fresh air.

Total hatch could take 24-48 hours after pip. Look at the larger end of the egg for the pip to begin.

Soren and Skye will also get a bit more active and start looking down more. They will feel and hear the eaglet as it works its way out. They may hear the eaglet just before it pips.

The second egg will pip approximately 3 days after the first since it was laid 3 days after the first egg was laid.
